“Baptism of Concrete Estuary” Detail 1 by Jave Yoshimoto

The original painting, titled “Baptism of Concrete Estuary” was completed by Jave Yoshimoto in 2011 and produced during a residency at the Art Students League’s Vytlacil Campus Artist-in-Residence program in Sparkill, New York.

The original painting measures 30 feet long and 42 inches wide and is available for viewing at Gallery [context] in Seattle Design Center until March 4th, 2013.

This work has also been reproduced as part of the Scroll For Japan project in New York, an open edition with 300 smaller prints and 10 of comparable size to the Gallery [context] Limited Edition.

This Gallery [context] Limited Edition fine art series is limited to 18 reproductions. Only 13 are available for purchase. 5 scrolls from this G[c] Limited Edition and 20% of all funds generated from the series go to continue visibility and relief efforts as Japan rebuilds.

G[c] Limited Editions are color-corrected and produced by Carl at ChromaWorks in Seattle using fine art Giclee process with archival inks on MOAB Entrada Bright rag papers.

Each print is protected against scuffing with a light coat of matte varnish, then attached to wood-core, rolled and placed inside a custom box designed by Alison Grimm.

Every iteration in the Gallery [context] Limited Edition is a unique art object. Box design will vary and each print is signed and numbered in the order of it’s creation.

It is our continued pleasure to offer fine art objects with value, purpose and meaning.

Cheers!

-Zal.
